It is mango time in Uganda!
Everywhere there are mangoes. Trees are dropping the baseball-sized fruit with a thud.
We have two 30-foot-tall trees on our property that are loaded and dropping mangoes day and night. You are at risk of a concussion if you take a direct hit to the noggin
The highways and local streets are filled with people selling the ripe yellow fruit.
We are able to fill a wheelbarrow just from the fruit that drops one night. Gabriel, our guard, walks through the neighborhood daily, passing out fruit. All of our visitors are offered a sack before they leave.
Fresh mangoes with every meal for the next two weeks.
It is time to get a juicer!
