Crode’s journey begins with his unwavering desire to learn and grow. “I always wanted to know more about computers,” Crode shares, his eyes bright with enthusiasm. “I was eager to learn how to use them for productive purposes, not just entertainment.”

Hard-working, Crode is happy to help many libraries in his city.

This hard-working spirit caught the attention of a mentor who suggested Crode attend the Empowering Ugandans computer classes that you’ve made possible through your generous support. Crode threw himself into his studies, quickly mastering Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

“I took the introductory classes and I was inspired to use computers for productive things,” Crode explains. “I never stopped pushing myself to learn more.”

Thanks to the Empowering Ugandans giving community, Crode has amazing skills to give away.

Crode’s dedication is paying off. He now applies his skills to help local schools computerize their libraries, transforming inefficient paper-based systems into streamlined digital databases. “People rely on me to help them use computers to organize their work,” Crode says proudly. “This benefits new generations of children who need access to books and information.”
